When To Wear Lifewave Patches – Mistake #7 – Wearing the Wrong Patch at the Wrong Time

When To Wear Lifewave Patches

Wrong Patch, Wrong Time

If you use more than one type of LifeWave patch, you may be wondering “When should I wear my LifeWave patches?” or “Should LifeWave patches be worn during the day or at night?” The answer depends on the patch.

According to LifeWave’s current patch placement instructions, many LifeWave patches are intended for morning use, while others are specifically used in the evening or before bed. Knowing when to wear LifeWave patches can help you follow the manufacturer’s directions and establish a consistent patching routine.

LifeWave Patches: Morning or Night?

Here’s the basic schedule according to LifeWave’s current instructions:

LifeWave Patch When to Wear
LifeWave X39 Morning
LifeWave X49 Morning
Energy Enhancer Morning
SP6 Complete Morning
Y-Age Aeon Morning
Y-Age Carnosine Morning
Y-Age Glutathione Morning
Silent Nights Evening
Alavida Night / Before Bed
IceWave No specific morning/evening time stated in current placement guide

Most of these patches may be worn for up to 12 hours before being discarded. Always follow the current instructions for the particular LifeWave product you’re using.

LifeWave X39 and X49 — Morning

LifeWave instructs users to apply X39 and X49 in the morning to clean, dry skin. Each patch may be worn for up to 12 hours before being discarded. For X39, follow the recommended LifeWave X39 patch placement instructions, remain well hydrated and rotate among the recommended placement points. Both X39 and X49 belong on the daytime side of a LifeWave patching routine.

Energy Enhancer and SP6 Complete — Morning

Energy Enhancer and SP6 Complete are also designated for morning use. Energy Enhancer uses two patches, with the white patch placed on the right side of the body and the tan patch on the left, according to the recommended placement locations. SP6 Complete uses a single patch, with LifeWave recommending rotation among its suggested placement points. Both may be worn for up to 12 hours.

Y-Age Aeon, Glutathione and Carnosine — Morning

LifeWave’s current Patch Placement Guide also designates Aeon, Glutathione and Carnosine for morning application. LifeWave recommends rotating among the designated Y-Age placement points. The recommended frequency, however, differs:

    • Aeon: 5–7 days per week
    • Glutathione: 5–7 days per week
    • Carnosine: 1–3 days per week

This is a good example of why it’s important to follow the specific LifeWave patch instructions for each product rather than assuming all patches are used the same way.

Silent Nights and Alavida — Evening and Night

Unlike the patches above, Silent Nights and Alavida are nighttime products. LifeWave instructs users to apply Silent Nights in the evening to clean, dry skin and wear it for up to 12 hours. Alavida is even more specific. LifeWave instructs users to apply the patch each night before going to bed and wear it for up to 12 hours.

This means someone using a daytime patch along with Silent Nights or Alavida should pay attention to the different recommended application times rather than simply applying every patch at once.

What About LifeWave IceWave?

IceWave is different. LifeWave’s current Patch Placement Guide instructs users to apply the white and tan IceWave patches to clean, dry, undamaged skin and allows them to be worn for up to 12 hours. However, the current general placement guide does not specifically designate IceWave as either a morning or nighttime patch.

For that reason, IceWave shouldn’t automatically be placed into either category. Follow LifeWave’s current IceWave usage and placement instructions.

Can You Wear LifeWave Patches 24 Hours a Day?

The existence of daytime and nighttime LifeWave patches does not mean everyone should continuously patch around the clock. Individual products have their own instructions concerning:

    • Time of day
    • Patch placement
    • Number of patches
    • Frequency of use
    • Length of wear

Most LifeWave patch instructions specify wearing a patch for up to 12 hours before discarding it. Don’t assume that if 12 hours is good, 24 hours must be better. Follow the directions for each individual product.

Why Does the Time of Day Matter?

The simplest answer is that different LifeWave products have different manufacturer instructions. A patch’s name or intended wellness purpose isn’t necessarily enough to determine when it should be worn. Aeon, for example, is associated with relaxation and stress management, yet LifeWave’s current instructions designate it for morning use. That’s why the manufacturer’s current instructions should be your starting point when deciding how to use LifeWave patches.

A Simple LifeWave Patch Routine

If you’re using several LifeWave products, your schedule may be easier to understand when divided into two basic periods:

Morning/Daytime:
X39, X49, Energy Enhancer, SP6 Complete, Aeon, Carnosine and Glutathione are currently designated for morning application.

Evening/Nighttime:
Silent Nights is applied in the evening, while Alavida is applied at night before bed.

IceWave:
LifeWave’s current general placement guide does not specify morning or nighttime use.

This doesn’t mean everyone should use all of these products. Your routine should be based on the patches you’ve chosen and the specific instructions for each one.

The Bottom Line: When Should You Wear LifeWave Patches?

Not all LifeWave patches are meant to be worn at the same time of day. Some are designated for morning use, while Silent Nights and Alavida are used later in the day. IceWave doesn’t currently have a specific morning-or-night designation in LifeWave’s general placement guide.

Rather than developing your patching schedule based on someone else’s routine, check the current LifeWave Patch Placement Guide for the products you’re using.

Following the recommended LifeWave patch placement, application time, frequency and length of wear is the simplest way to ensure you’re using each product according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Because product instructions can change, always check the latest directions included with your product or LifeWave’s current Patch Placement Guide.
