LifeWave Patch Placement: Mistake #3 – Inconsistent Patch Usage

LifeWave Patch Placement

LifeWave Patch Placement and Consistency: Are You Using Your Patches Correctly?

LifeWave patch placement is an extremely important factor in determining the results you see when using our products. LifeWave products are remarkably simple to use. There’s really nothing complicated about putting on a phototherapy patch. But that simplicity can sometimes work against us. Because something that’s so easy to do can also become easy to forget.

We may wear our patches faithfully for several days, miss a day, start again, forget again, change our LifeWave patch placement, or stop altogether because we haven’t experienced the results we expected. Before long, inconsistent patch wearing becomes part of our routine.

And that raises an important question: Are we really giving ourselves a fair opportunity to evaluate our experience if we’re not following the LifeWave patch instructions consistently?

Dramatic LifeWave Testimonials Can Create Unrealistic Expectations

For some people, discovering LifeWave products has been an incredibly positive experience. It’s inspiring to hear LifeWave testimonials from people describing significant changes in their overall wellness. But I’ve noticed something about testimonials. The dramatic stories receive the most attention. Someone describing an extraordinary experience gets far more attention than the person who says:

“I’ve simply made phototherapy patches part of my daily wellness routine.”

There’s nothing wrong with being inspired by someone else’s experience. The problem begins when we make their experience the standard by which we judge our own. If we’re expecting something dramatic to happen quickly and it doesn’t, it’s easy to become discouraged. And discouragement can quickly lead to inconsistency.

The Start-Stop Cycle of Using Phototherapy Patches

I think many people can relate to this cycle. You discover phototherapy patches and begin wearing them enthusiastically. You don’t experience the dramatic changes you were hoping for. You become discouraged. You start forgetting to wear your patch. Eventually, you stop altogether. Then you hear another exciting LifeWave testimonial, become inspired again and decide to give the patches another try. And the cycle starts all over again.

Instead of continually starting and stopping based on someone else’s experience, I’ve learned to concentrate on something much simpler: Follow the instructions and be consistent.

LifeWave Patch Instructions Matter

One of the advantages of LifeWave products is that the basic instructions are relatively simple. For example, LifeWave’s current instructions for its flagship X39 product recommend applying one patch to clean, dry skin in the morning, using one of the recommended LifeWave patch placement locations.

The patch may be worn for up to 12 hours before being removed and discarded. LifeWave also recommends staying well hydrated while using the product.

Other LifeWave products have their own recommended placement locations and instructions, which is why it’s important to follow the appropriate LifeWave patch placement guide for the particular product you’re using.

For me, the lesson is simple: Don’t make patching something you do only when you remember, when something hurts or immediately after hearing an exciting testimonial. Make it part of your regular wellness routine.

Does LifeWave Patch Placement Matter?

This is another question worth asking. LifeWave provides recommended placement locations for its individual products, including X39, X49, Energy Enhancer, IceWave, SP6 Complete, Aeon, Carnosine, Glutathione, Silent Nights and Alavida. Some of these products have very different and specific usage instructions. That’s why I don’t believe we should simply stick a patch anywhere we want and assume we’re following the recommended protocol.

Before using a product, check the current LifeWave patch placement guide and follow the instructions for that specific patch. Correct usage and consistency go hand in hand.

Don’t Let One Symptom Determine Your Entire Experience

Let’s say you’ve been dealing with persistent back discomfort. Your best friend tells you about LifeWave products after hearing about someone else’s experience, so you decide to give them a try. You begin using the product expecting your back to feel dramatically different. A month later, you’re disappointed because your experience doesn’t match the testimonial that originally convinced you to try it.

At this point, it’s easy to conclude the patches don’t work. At least not for you. But there’s another possibility worth considering. Maybe your expectations may have been unrealistic from the beginning.

LifeWave’s general-wellness phototherapy products shouldn’t be treated as a guaranteed treatment for a particular disease, injury or medical condition. And someone else’s testimonial doesn’t establish what will happen in your body.

Our bodies are incredibly complex. As the Bible says: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14. That’s something I believe wholeheartedly. And precisely because our bodies are so wonderfully complex, I don’t think we should attempt to predict exactly what another person’s experience will be—or exactly when they’ll notice a particular change physically.

How to Use LifeWave Patches Consistently

For me, consistency begins with simplicity. Follow the appropriate LifeWave patch instructions for the product you’re using. Apply the patch to clean, dry skin. Follow the recommended patch placement. Stay properly hydrated. Pay attention to your body. And most importantly, make patching part of your routine.

Maybe you put on your patch immediately after brushing your teeth every morning. Maybe you keep your patches somewhere you’ll see them as you begin your day. Whatever works for you, develop a routine that’s easy to remember.

Consistency Over Instant Gratification

I’m someone who didn’t experience miraculous, earth-shattering changes overnight. That’s one reason I’ve learned not to judge my experience based on how quickly someone else says they noticed something happening in their body. Don’t allow someone else’s testimonial to become your deadline. Their experience belongs to them. Your experience belongs to you.

And most importantly, don’t use phototherapy patches as a substitute for appropriate medical evaluation or treatment. Persistent, severe or unexplained symptoms should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional. For me, this isn’t about chasing someone else’s testimonial. It’s about developing a consistent wellness routine and giving myself the opportunity to evaluate my own experience.

Individual experiences and results vary. LifeWave products are for general wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. This article describes my personal experience and opinions and is not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical symptoms or health concerns.
